Scamming and Phishing Emails
DEAN World Cargo would like to alert our valued customers to the noticeable increased hacking activity within Australia.
Whilst regular phishing emails can be quite generic and often host bad grammar, spear phishing emails can be very deceiving. They often have incredibly similar email addresses with small intentional typos. They also use the same language and the choice of words often used by the genuine sender.
DEAN World Cargo will never advise our valued customers of a change in our accounts details by email. If changes do indeed occur, either one of our Accounts team members, or your dedicated Account Manager will contact you over the phone to let you know of any changes.
Should you receive such an email, especially those that require funds transfer, please ensure to contact our Accounts department or your Account Manager to confirm the validity and authenticity of the correspondence.
Should you have any questions regarding the above, please do not hesitate to contact your DEAN World Cargo Account Manager.
