Season’s Greetings from DEAN World Cargo

DEAN World Cargo would like wish all our valued customers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their support and business partnership during a very challenging period in our human history.

DEAN World Cargo are determined to remain the supply chain business partner of choice in 2021 and beyond, as we plan to find new innovative ways to improve our customers’ supply chain efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Our office will remain open except for the statutory public holidays, which are 25 and 28 of Dec 2020, then 1 Jan 2021.

Domestic Transportation Continuous Challenges
 

As a result of the unprecedented challenges in all ports within Australia, a new logistical challenge has emerged, namly the local transportation and delivery of imported shipments. All local operators of container delivery are currently struggling to cope with delayed shipments, the changing date if availability, as well as coping with the volume of deliveries within Australia. The dehiring of containers is now a new emerging challenge, due to empty yards being completely full causing unwanted detention charges.

Please rest assured that your service team at DEAN World Cargo will spare no effort in ensuring that you receive your goods as planned, however there will be incidents where these endeavours may not be possible. We will closely liaise with all our valued customers to ensure that contingency plans are in place.
