CityLink Toll Increase
Dear Valued Customer,
As you might have heard from various media outlets on the 1st of April 2017 heavy vehicle transport operators using Citylink, Tullamarine Freeway and Monash Freeway will face significant increases in tolls due to the Citylink, Tulla Widening CTW Project.
The CTW project is jointly funded by the Victorian government, Federal government and Transurban.
However, in an agreement reached between Transurban and the Victorian Government a significant increase in heavy vehicle tolls was imposed to commence from 1st of April, 2017.
Since the Citylink tolls were introduced in Melbourne the tolls have been absorbed into the cost of transport, however we are no longer able to commercially sustain this approach given the significant increase coming in from April.
Regrettably, we have no option but to pass on the citylink toll charges from the 1st of April.
The toll charges will be invoiced as a separate line on your invoice for full transparency.
